SUMMARY: A journeyman with at least three years of documented field experience in a chosen craft discipline can read and interpret instructions, and independently document, plan, and perform work activities. They lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems, supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and production processing systems.
Qualifications: The position may require a high school diploma or equivalent combined with relevant experience. Candidates possess knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures, rely on instructions and established guidelines, work under immediate supervision, and typically report to a supervisor or manager.
Physical requirements: The role demands frequent standing, walking, and occasional sitting, with the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50‑70 lb‑ft. Workers must be comfortable working at heights, climbing, balancing, and performing frequent movements such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, and fingering.
