The position will steer the creation of master plans and land‑use strategies, oversee site analysis and feasibility studies, and ensure the production of high‑quality planning reports and urban guidelines. Collaboration with transport, infrastructure, environmental, economic, and architectural disciplines will be essential, as will ongoing interaction with Saudi government authorities, developers and private partners.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in urban planning, urban design, architecture or a related field, and bring at least 15 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 10 years in the Middle East, preferably within Saudi giga‑projects. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, report‑writing and communication skills, fluency in English (Arabic advantageous), and proficiency with GIS, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite are required; membership in a recognized professional body is desirable.
