The Lead Technician role involves leading, training, and mentoring a crew, coordinating with trades, tracking schedules, controlling costs, and performing hands‑on refrigeration work while enforcing safety standards.
- Lead technical resource on assigned projects
- Supervise and mentor 5‑7 crew members
- Report job status and performance
- Control job costs and request change orders
- Develop relationships with peers, customers, GCs, and subcontractors
- Enforce PPE usage and safe vehicle practices
- Ensure compliance with installation policies, safety, time‑and‑attendance
- Oversee third‑party resources and other apprentices/journeymen

Applicants need a minimum of five years in commercial construction, including supermarket refrigeration installation and copper brazing, a high school diploma or trade certification, a clean driver’s license, and solid organizational, communication, and software skills.

- Ability to give clear instructions and maintain labor hours
- Proficiency with email, Word, Excel, dispatch and ERP software
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, punctual, dependable
