Provide procurement support and assistance for Capital Expense projects.
Ensures compliance to Corporate, Business Unit and Purchasing policies and procedures; monitors compliance as required.
Reviews and analyzes store room activities; receiving, parts transactions, cycle counts and inventory investment to maintain critical repair parts and necessary PM items
Work is performed in an office environment with coordination activities occasionally being conducted in a factory environment.
Establishes effective Supplier relationships and communications.
Assesses vendor capabilities, develops and qualifies alternate sources, manages and evaluates supplier performance.
Manage contractors to ensure projects are completed according to Imerys requirements and budget
Manages current contracts to ensure supplier adherence to contractual obligations.
Through effective leadership, manages the Maintenance Department by establishing appropriate goals, objectives and personal development plans.
Analyzes Supplier spend, terms and conditions for opportunities to improve cash flow.
Manage supplier packaging inventories at site to ensure proper levels of packaging needs are onsite to prevent operations disruption
Work with RAC USA Purchasing Manager for purchases above threshold.
Reports monthly and quarterly results of purchasing initiatives, KPI’s and PPV analysis.
Manages the site maintenance team and PM program for facilities and equipment

B.S., Operations/Engineering or related field

Strong technical understanding and ability to discuss complex technical items with contractor and suppliers
The position requires the ability to lift/and carry objects less than 20 lbs; sitting at workstation for moderate periods of time; talking/hearing on a telephone and in-person, vision required for reading and operating a computer.
Strong budgeting, cost management and inventory management skills.
Experience utilizing ERP software and demonstrated proficiency with Google applications.
