Renewable Project Engineer

Description

A field team manages day-to-day construction.

• Evaluating EPC proposals and overseeing technical delivery.
• Overseeing acquisition diligence, engineering, planning, permitting, procurement and EPC assignment/oversight.
• Engineering Managers within EPC or delivery teams
• You’re involved in shaping technical decisions that materially impact cost, schedule and project performance
• Acting as the technical bridge between development, construction and operations
• Influencing procurement decisions and major equipment packages
• Leading technical diligence on mid/stage or NTP solar & BESS projects
• Helping configure PV and storage systems (modules, batteries, inverters, BOP)

Requirements

They’re now looking to add a senior technical leader into the development team - someone who sits between engineering and execution, and who enjoys owning projects from acquisition or mid-stage development through commercial operation.

• You’re exposed to investment thinking, acquisition diligence and senior leadership
• Pre-construction engineers with strong technical depth
• Understands how utility-scale solar/BESS projects are engineered & built.
• Is comfortable being in the office and adding to the office culture 5 days per week (relocation to Los Angeles is available).
• You work alongside a dedicated field construction team - your value is in judgment, coordination and acquisition analysis.
• You own EPC oversight and procurement strategy, not just drawings or spreadsheets
• Is comfortable balancing technical detail with commercial reality
