AMH is seeking a dedicated Field Technician – Maintenance to join its team. The technician will work across AMH properties, performing repairs, troubleshooting, installations, and ongoing maintenance while keeping homes functional, safe, and clean.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (preferably with an associate degree or technical certification), at least two years of residential/property maintenance experience (or five years in lieu of education), a valid driver’s license, and familiarity with basic hand and power tools. Required certifications include Universal EPA or HVAC Type II where applicable, and preferred experience with iPads and HVAC systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OSHA safety knowledge, strong communication, time‑management, problem‑solving, and the ability to lift and maneuver up to 300 lb are essential.
