In this role you will deliver high‑quality project and programme management standards throughout the whole project lifecycle, advising clients on cost, programme, risks and issues while leading multidisciplinary professional teams. You will manage client and stakeholder communications, produce monthly reports including schedules and risk registers, implement efficient communication tools, develop delivery plans, and continuously pursue performance improvement in a changing environment.
The ideal candidate holds or is working towards chartership with APM, RICS or a similar body, and possesses significant experience in project management, preferably within the rail sector. A solid understanding of best‑practice PM techniques, pre‑ and post‑contract responsibilities, and extensive knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts (NEC accreditation is desirable) is required, along with the ability to manage a project from inception to completion.
The role may require UK security clearance, with the vetting process conducted by United Kingdom Security Vetting and requiring proof of at least five years UK residency.
