Maintain and optimize geospatial databases, ensuring performance and reliability.
Maintain compliance with organizational policies for database access and permissions.
Troubleshoot and resolve GIS system issues, including after-hours incidents as needed.
Develop and document database architecture, interdependencies, and operational processes.
Provide technical expertise on database security, performance, and GIS-related architectural design.
Deploy geospatial data updates within specified timelines and service level agreements.
Automate processes to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual workload.
Evaluate emerging technologies and propose upgrades to software, hardware, and system configurations.
Manage GIS software installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and integration, including ArcGIS Enterprise.
Ensure system backups and high availability in coordination with server administrators.

5+ years of experience in GIS database management.
Experience managing GIS data layers with version control and working with enterprise geodatabases.

Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise setup, configuration, and administration.
Hands-on experience implementing GIS within cloud-based database solutions and migrations to the cloud.
Expertise in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other RDBMS, and proficiency in Python scripting for automation.
The ability to prepare and present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
Experience developing spatial data ETL scripts and tools using Python, or other scripting languages.
