- Familiarity with NC data, bolt lists, weld symbols, and material take-offs.
- Tekla Structures Certification or formal training
- Minimum 5 years' experience in steel detailing using Tekla Structures (multi-user environment preferred).
- Understanding of fabrication shop and site installation practices
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Strong understanding of structural steelwork fabrication and erection processes.
- Knowledge of architectural metalwork such as balustrades, handrails, and feature stairs
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings.
- Experience working on a variety of steel projects (e.g., portal frames, trusses, staircases, balustrades, secondary steel).
- Proficient with relevant software tools (Tekla, AutoCAD, MS Office).
- Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, and IFC/3D model exchanges
