Key responsibilities include advising plant leadership on employee relations and organizational strategy, leading change‑management efforts, developing a small on‑site HR team, coaching frontline supervisors, and overseeing talent processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning. The role also involves workforce planning, monitoring HR metrics, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, managing leave programs, collaborating on labor cost planning, and executing internal communications.
The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor, influencing at all levels, and excel at leading complex change while balancing empathy and business priorities. Resilience, agility, strong business acumen, and deep knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HRIS systems, and data analytics are essential.
Qualifications require at least four years of progressive HR leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field, and preferably a PHR or SPHR certification. Demonstrated success in employee relations, talent development, and organizational effectiveness is required.
