- Lead a team of warehouse personnel in a fast-paced environment providing visible leadership in order to maintain a motivated, positive and productive work force
- Participates in cross-functional business team focused on continuous improvement in metrics
- Participates in hiring and training of employees
- Identifies, coaches and develops team members
- Take an active role in managing multiple aspects of the distribution center operations including: Receiving, Inventory Control, Material Handling, Order Picking, and Traffic.
- Identify and allocate resources necessary to accomplish departmental objectives
- Contribute to the business by adhering to best practices and identifying and executing on continuous improvement opportunities

- Innovative & adaptable
- Leadership experience required: experience having led teams or projects
- Must be able to lift documents/work materials up to 70 pounds in weight
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment
- Must have experience in a fast paced distribution environment
- Proven ability to use resourcefulness and initiative to make decisions and take actions to insure timely and accurate shipping to all customers
- Must have knowledge of distribution processes, inventory control, lean manufacturing/continuous Improvement concepts & ERP/WMS systems
- Must have experience leading teams to achieve goals
- Must be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, stand/bend/stoop for extended periods of time
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and electronically
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Respectful and team oriented
- Experience with distribution processes: Receiving, Picking, Packing, and/or Shipping
