Act as the owner’s representative and project manager on capital improvement projects at various owned and managed commercial apartment properties.
Coordinate, oversee, and monitor the successful bidding, contracting, and completion of capital improvement projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and standards.
Develop budgets and scopes of work from inspections of buildings during due diligence periods and routine property inspections.
Coordinate work activities with regional management personnel and property staff.
Inspect and sign off on work according to company standards.
Routinely report on project status and provide monthly updates on the portfolio capital plan.
Conduct inspections of operating properties to assess five‑year capital needs and execute corresponding capital plans.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Drive projects from inception and budgeting through successful completion and close‑out.
Maintain a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Earn a BS/BA in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Have LEED certification (optional).
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Show strong interpersonal abilities.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, frequently changing environment.
