Work on projects across education, government, healthcare, and commercial sectors
Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems that create comfortable, safe, and efficient environments
Support client relations, maintain project design notebooks, and prepare permanent record documentation
Collaborate with experienced engineers committed to mentorship and your professional growth
Research commercially available equipment
Review project documents for accuracy and completeness before final checks
Assist in designing discipline-specific systems per code and IMEG standards
Prepare and issue addendum information
Coordinate design and schedules with other disciplines and suppliers
Document design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while tracking progress
Apply energy-efficient and sustainable strategies to meet client goals
Conduct job site observations and perform services per contract requirements

Proficient with MS Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Skilled in AutoCAD and/or Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred
Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent required
