Support testing – functional, reliability, durability – and analyze results.
Drive supplier qualification, approval, audits, and continuous improvement.
Develop centrifugal and reciprocating pumps including cryogenic/marine applications.
Validate casting/machining processes through audits, inspections, and supplier development.
Recommend supplier approvals/rejections based on process capability.
Mentor junior engineers in design, development, and casting/machining practices.
Drive engineering decisions related to pump design, materials, tolerances, and processes.
Perform CAD modeling, calculations, engineering documentation, and validation planning.
Collaborate with Sourcing, Quality, Manufacturing, R&D and customers.
Plan and execute first article development for cast and machined pump components.
Lead pump product development across concept, feasibility, design, prototyping, testing, and launch.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams for new part introduction, cost optimization, and process improvements.
Escalate quality or supplier issues affecting product performance or delivery.
Select tolerances, assembly methods, special tools, repair procedures.
Approve technical drawings, specifications, and first article reports.
Prepare/review design documents including drawings, BOMs, specifications, P&IDs, manuals.
Execute first article inspection, review non‑conformities, and approve components.
Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO,, DNV, ABS, Lloyd’s, PED and other standards.

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
Strong CAD (SolidWorks), P&ID, mechanical design calculation proficiency.
Knowledge of casting, forging, machining, tolerances, and pressure‑containing components.
Experience with ISO 9001, ASME, API, marine class rules (DNV, ABS, Lloyd’s).
5–11 years in pump product development, casting/machining, and first article activities.
Supplier qualification, audits, value engineering, process validation.
