Ensure all documents and designs are complete within budget constraints.
Provide estimating support and technical expertise to the sales debarment as needed.
Collaborate with the Construction Manager to develop and maintain drawing schedules and provide departmental support during the project process.
Perform final material take-offs for devices and panel components to generate accurate bill of materials and update associated work orders in project management software.
Conduct field surveys to gather site data and verify system requirements.
Prepare Owner Documentation packages, manage drawing storage and filing, and create system service files.
Maintain accurate time sheets for proper time allocation and project costing.
Create complete drawing and submittal packages for low voltage system projects as directed by the Construction Manager
Attend weekly meetings with Projects and Sales teams to coordinate efforts and share updates.
Job Summary: **The CAD Operator and Low Voltage Systems Designer is responsible for using software to create 2D and 3D designs for fire protection and other low voltage system type projects. The individual shall participate in the coordination for the associated tasks required to establish timelines and budgets, as well as solve problems during the entire project process. Majority of these responsibilities will be performed in the office with an occasional site survey when required. They will support both internal and external customers with system-related questions related to the designs they produce.
May occasionally work offsite at various industrial locations with differi g conditions.

Reliable transportation is required to travel between office and field locations.
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) or related field.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively to solve problems and establish project timelines and budgets.
Potential exposure to industrial environments, including noise and variable weather.
Proficiency in Windows environment and Microsoft Office suite.
Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites as required.
