Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and computer-based maintenance systems
Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment a plus
Exposure to environmental elements including dirt, dust, sun, heat, humidity, and adverse weather conditions.
Ability to read and interpret vehicle manuals, service instructions, and technical documents
Moderate to loud noise levels, common in active construction and industrial environments.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, pull, kneel, climb, balance, lift, carry, and push as required for fieldwork and inspections.
Basic understanding of vehicle systems, preventative maintenance, and repair practices
This position requires extensive travel, approximately up to 70% of the time, in support of business
Ability to stand, walk, drive, and operate equipment for extended periods.
Ability to lift and/or carry 35 to 75 lbs. up to 75 feet, involving regular repetitive motion.
1-3 years of experience in fleet maintenance, vehicle service, or similar role preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training in automotive maintenance or related field preferred
Familiarity with maintenance logs, service records, and inventory tracking
Frequent use of hands and arms for typing, handling tools, and operating equipment.
Reads and understands vehicle manuals, drawings, and technical instructions from mechanics and management.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
Diagnoses vehicular problems requiring limited skill using vehicle testing gear.
Ability to speak and hear effectively to communicate in noisy environments and with project teams.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Ability to use your senses to see (including close, distant, and peripheral vison, depth vision, and ability to focus) smell.
