Ensure Automotive Coatings customer satisfaction by providing technical service in customer plant on a wide range of products and application techniques.
Identify customer’s needs / expectations and assess competitive activities such that sales strategies can be developed to increase sales / profits.
May be asked to lead customer projects, assist with process improvements, and look for cost savings for the customer. This will also include inventory management, which may also include the ordering of all products for the customer and developing usage reports.
Implement strategies to help manage inventory programs at customer locations of PPG product to increase inventory turns, reduce product obsolescence, and maximize freight advantages.
Primary contact person for all customer complaints and questions. Will be the lead spokesperson / liaison in communicating between the customer and internal PPG support departments.
Build sales position by establishing strong customer relationships at all levels, provide resolution to customer’s concerns, and quickly troubleshoot problems.
Provide Paint Application Technical Service/Support for the Customer.
Maximize profit contribution by differentiation through technical problem solving which produces higher yield rates, lower reject rates and optimum appearance on the customer’s production line.
You will also service other customers in surrounding states and support the sales and service team as needed.
Provide sales support to maintain and expand business at existing accounts and effective start-up of new products.

2+ years
2+ year of experience working with Ecoat and desirable Top Coat experience.
Willingness to work for the first/day shift daily and also during the weekend when necessary
Must have valid US driver’s license
High school diploma or GED required
Pretreatment, Base Coat, Ecoat, Powder, and Liquid coatings experience preferred
Automotive coatings experience preferred
Application troubleshooting experience in two or more technologies preferred
