• Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance according to local codes, industry standards, and blueprints.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, foremen, and team members to define requirements, timelines, and workflow.
• Read and interpret electrical, architectural, mechanical, and trade‑specific drawings for cross‑discipline coordination.
• Install and connect wiring, conduit, fittings, switches, outlets, and various electrical components.
• Test electrical systems and circuits to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and execute necessary repairs or replacements.
• Follow established safety guidelines, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work variable shifts as needed, with proper rest and notice before any change.

Requirements

• Travel to multiple locations throughout Central Florida and statewide, staying out of town when required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial electrical installation or service.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and commercial electrical systems.
• Proven experience as a commercial electrical installer.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and diagrams.
• Ability to travel throughout Florida and adapt to variable work hours and project timelines.
• Experience running conduit, pulling wire, installing panels, and wiring lighting and control systems.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools commonly employed in electrical installations.
• Capability to operate scissor and boom lifts.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb and work on ladders or lifts as needed.
