Review, change and develop SSOW
Producing a collection of reports for the H&S Manager
Evaluate the compliance of machines against the legal requirements and make suggestions on improvements to be made
Responsibility for ensuring H&S best practices, policies & procedures are adhered to, including review of regulatory legislation
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on H&S matters
Ensuring all staff receive sufficient H&S related training in order to carry out their function safely & effectively
Deliver training to staff members on safety related topics
Identify gaps in training and risk assessments and work in conjunction with the relevant department to eliminate potential risks
Participating in weekly production meetings to ensure an accurate and clear understanding of the Plants targets
Provide support for internal and external audits
Working alongside the wider team to deliver proactive safety initiatives
Review, adapt and implement new risk assessments throughout the Plants ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
