What You’ll Do: You will install, maintain and repair transmission line assets, carry out inspections, and identify condition concerns. You will prepare safe‑work methods and documentation, mentor apprentices and junior technicians, and step into a crew‑leader role when needed. You will also work closely with Field Coordinators and Site Managers to ensure safe, efficient and well‑coordinated delivery of work.
What We’re Looking For – Essential: Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems (Transmission/Distribution Overhead), flexibility to support on‑call/after‑hours requests and respond to system incidents, a current Australian driver’s licence and an understanding of inspection, maintenance and construction requirements for transmission line infrastructure.

A Heavy Rigid driver’s licence is preferred and experience in high‑voltage maintenance such as pole replacement, insulator change‑outs and hot‑joint repair is advantageous.
As part of our recruitment process, applicants complete standard pre‑employment assessments, including reference checks, a medical check, a national police check and a driver’s licence and traffic offence check.
What’s in it for you? We offer a well‑rounded benefits package that includes corporate discounts, wellbeing initiatives like free skin checks, flu vaccinations and a Fitness Passport membership, as well as a strong safety culture that gives you the right to stop work if something feels unsafe.
