Software Specialist

Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

• Provide technical support for web-based applications, websites, and internal software systems.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA, and IT teams to identify and fix bugs or system issues.
• Respond to support tickets and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality, performance, and user access.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, data protection, and security standards.
• Assist with software deployments, updates, and patches in staging and production environments.
• Discover and fix programming bugs
• Design highly scalable, testable code
• Support integrations with third-party tools, APIs, and databases.
• Maintain system documentation, user guides, and support knowledge bases.
• Monitor web applications and services to ensure uptime, reliability, and security.
• Develop quality software and web applications
• Perform root cause analysis and document technical solutions and procedures.
• Analyze and maintain existing software applications

Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Specialist with Web Support experience to support, maintain, and enhance web-based applications and software systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting application issues, supporting end users, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of web platforms.

• Development experience with programming languages
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• SQL database or relational database skills
• Previous Construction Industry Experience
