Serve as senior technical consultant to individuals within and outside the organization.
Create and analyze processes, systems and programs related to civil engineering field and related sciences and disciplines.
Offer technical guidance, review progress and advise procedural changes as required.
Initiate and maintain extensive contacts with key engineers and officials of other organizations and companies, which require skill in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues.
May plan, organize, and supervise work of staff/junior engineers or technicians.
Review project development plans for compliance with codes, regulations and standards, adequacy of applications for permits, and compliance with approved plans.
Coordinate the preparation or develop of engineering plans and specifications; coordinate required advertising for bids; review bids and make necessary recommendations based on bids, competency of vendors and consultants and the selection criteria.
Receive administrative supervision with assignments given only in terms of broad general objectives and limits. Apply expert-level technical knowledge and experience to assignments. Maintain quality control and quality assurance of work produced by staff.
Oversee assigned projects to ensure compliance with time and budget parameters for the project.
Assist with the marketing of the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships with existing clients.
Make authoritative decisions and recommendations that have important impact on extensive engineering activities of the Company.
