Coordinate with Project Designers to develop FAA/ICAO/IATA/User Airline-compliant gate layouts and apron system drawings using CAD/AviPlan and generic BIM models, along with related apron systems equipment specifications.
Collaborate with team members and other Project Managers to find the best solutions for clients.
Provide feedback to Designers and Project Engineers to ensure the quality and accuracy of reports, specifications, and drawing packages.
Oversee discipline-specific requirements, including aircraft parking layouts and apron systems equipment design and commissioning.
Supervise punch list resolution and provide start-up assistance.
Manage on-site activities such as surveys, inspections, installations, and equipment testing.
Maintain project budgets and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs).
Conduct and analyze system simulations for performance evaluation.
Mentor and support Project Engineers and Designers to foster professional growth.
Coordinate with Designers, Project Engineers, Directors, and Executives to assign staff and develop all required reports and documentation.

We utilize the latest software package technology in our design efforts, including recent releases of Revit, AutoCAD, Sim 3D, AutoMod, PathPlanner, and the Microsoft Office suite of programs, so experience in any of these would be beneficial.
Experience managing project logistics, timelines, and budgets
This is a full-time position based in any of our U.S. offices, including Denver, Chicago, Dallas, Tampa, and Fairfield. The role requires occasional travel to airports within the U.S. for site-based work as well as travel to architectural and engineering partners’ offices. The successful candidate must pass criminal background checks and screening to obtain airport security badges.
Preferred qualifications include a background in mechanical, industrial, or controls engineering. However, civil and electrical engineers, as well as candidates with other educational backgrounds, may be considered if they possess relevant knowledge or experience. Previous experience in conceptual and spatial coordination works with large-scale hub airports is a valuable asset.

Minimum five (5) years’ experience in project management (preferably in airfield layouts/passenger boarding bridges)
Leadership and team-building experience with large design and development groups
Ability to read, interpret, and develop efficient logistics designs and concepts
PMP certification preferred but not required

Advanced degree or similar field experience
