- Ensuring quality for the deliverables /work done
- Travel to help activities at other engineering offices, supplier’s works, construction sites
- Develop technical specifications for Equipment/Package. Review of specifications from Licensor / Client / PMC
- Generate PIDs.
- Participating in IDC process. Interaction with Engineering disciplines, Clients / PMC, Bidders / Vendors
- Resolving Vendor/Site queries. Interaction with Inspection Agencies, Expeditors, other agencies for delivery of Equipment/Packages
- Design calculations for flow and pressure-drop.
- Data sheets, Project specifications, Material and Service Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations.
- Review of Vendor prints and approval
- Develop / assist in documentation for progress reporting
- Review of deliverables of Process Package

- Trouble shooting, resolution of Client and site queries.
- Ability to quickly provide data for carrying out preliminary detailing / estimation by Mechanical and other Engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of industry / regulatory codes and standards.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university and 3 -11 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge for different Licenser specific design requirements and construction features.
- The Mechanical Engineer will work as part of Global Bechtel team and should have basic flair for working with personnel of different nationalities. Should have a good proficiency for spoken and written English language.
- Broad working knowledge of the principles and practices of executing large projects.
- Knowledge & assessment of Suppliers capabilities.
- Implement / Capture Lesson Learnt. Active pursue of Value Engineering, design and cost optimization program.
- Good oral as well as written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to coordinate work with other engineering disciplines and other stake holders including other offices.
- Conceptual / basic, detail engineering, Heat and Mass balance diagram, water balance diagram.
