The Capability Manager – Electrification and Innovations role is a 12‑month term position within AGL’s Electrification and Innovations team. You will be responsible for shaping the delivery roadmap for electrification initiatives such as electric vehicles, batteries and related technologies, ensuring they align with the company’s sustainability targets.
Key duties include managing the product development framework, prioritising activities and delivering them on time and within budget while mitigating risk. You will work closely with technology teams to integrate solutions, provide technical advice and drive strategy, and you will lead cross‑functional collaboration to accelerate time‑to‑market and embed agile ways of working. Progress, risks and dependencies will be monitored and reported to senior stakeholders, with a focus on continuous improvement.
The successful candidate demonstrates strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, commercial acumen and analytical reporting capability. A solid understanding of operational environments, system capabilities and business processes, together with at least two years of experience in development environments, is required. You must be able to manage complexity and ambiguity and maintain a delivery‑focused, customer‑centric mindset.
