The Aerial Foreman supports all phases of utility construction on various telecom projects, ensuring work is done right and on schedule. You will lead in-house crews, direct job-site activities, manage daily and delivery schedules, and maintain a safe work perimeter.
- Install and repair aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable.
- Place, relocate, remove poles, lines, open‑wire, and perform drop and block wire tasks to keep customer facilities operating efficiently.
- Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and barriers.
- Review project plans, specifications, and installation instructions to verify compliance with design.
- Direct on‑site job activities.
- Complete required documentation and record crew time.
- Communicate with the Area Supervisor or Manager.
- Lead in‑house crews.
- Oversee daily schedules, deliveries, and aerial crew productivity.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of telecommunications construction experience and a strong grasp of coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, and both aerial and underground installation methods. The role requires the ability to work in a bucket truck, climb up to 35 feet, lift 70 lb, and hold OSHA 10, CPR, and flagging certifications, as well as demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum three years of telecommunications construction experience.
- Proficiency in coax splicing, fiber splicing, directional drilling, and aerial/underground construction.
- Ability to work in a bucket truck and climb poles up to 35 feet while lifting up to 70 lb.
- OSHA 10, CPR, and flagging certifications with knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
- Experience operating a digger Derek truck.
- Ability to read work orders and CTV cable prints.
- Availability for on‑call work, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong problem‑solving and hands‑on work approach.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions and under pressure.
