The BIM Modeler III leads the production team on BIM projects, overseeing model quality, drawings, and coordination files. The role includes supervising modeling and documentation, managing project resources, and providing direction to support staff while adhering to REI standards.
- Lead and supervise BIM modeling and documentation for electrical projects.
- Manage project models, assess resource needs, and monitor schedule, scope, and budget impacts.
- Create and maintain Electrical Revit models following REI standards and integrate backgrounds from other trades.
- Direct the layout and input of marked‑up drawings into Revit in accordance with standards.
- Provide verbal and written guidance to support staff and train team members on task‑based processes.
- Ensure confidentiality and protection of proprietary information.

- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computerized Drafting, Architectural Design, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year Revit experience and at least 5 years total experience with electrical drafting symbols and standards.
- Advanced knowledge of Revit families, views, sheets, schedules, filters, and work‑sharing.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D plans, one‑lines, lighting, panel, and feeder schedules.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, proactive team player able to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt under pressure.
