Assistant Digital Engineer

Description

The role focuses on supporting architectural decisions, leading feature development, optimizing and refactoring code, building responsive UI for the Moata platform, defining coding standards, and contributing to a collaborative team culture across multiple projects. You will also conduct code and design reviews and ensure best practices are followed.

• Lead architectural decisions and conduct code/design reviews for new and existing features.
• Develop specific functionality and guide its implementation across the stack.
• Optimize, refactor, and debug existing code while performing peer reviews.
• Build dynamic, responsive UI experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile on the Moata platform.
• Define and maintain coding standards and best practices.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various development stages.
• Continuously expand skills across modern technology stacks and architectures.

Requirements

Candidates must have strong experience with .NET/C# and modern front‑end technologies such as React (preferably v18+) with TypeScript, and be proficient in building RESTful APIs, using Azure and SQL databases. They should also be detail‑oriented and commit to delivering high‑quality code.

Additional advantageous experience includes working in Agile/Scrum teams, CI/CD pipelines, object‑oriented design, cloud caching, NPM package management, mono‑repos, micro‑frontend architecture, and performance optimization. These capabilities support scalable and reliable software solutions.

• Proficient in .NET/C# development.
• Strong JavaScript (ES2016+) and TypeScript expertise.
• Experience with React 18+ and Redux/Redux Toolkit.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Competence in HTML5, Material UI, and SCSS.
• Ability to design and consume RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and SQL databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and object‑oriented design.
• Skills in security management, caching techniques, and cloud technologies.
• Experience creating/managing NPM packages and mono‑repos.
• Background in integration testing and micro‑frontend architecture.
• Insight into browser rendering performance and Google Analytics.
