Assist with ground‑level cutting on non‑structural steel using approved fuel/heating equipment.
Support lifting operations by following lift plans, selecting accessories, slinging loads and guiding plant with radios/hand signals.
Apply precautions for work at height, in confined spaces and on contaminated ground, maintaining safe exclusion zones.
Select, check and use hand/power tools safely, report defects and store equipment correctly.
Soft strip and non‑structural dismantling of fixtures, fittings, doors, windows and ceilings under supervision.
Complete point‑of‑work risk assessments, follow permits/authorisations and wear, inspect and maintain PPE.
Segregate and recycle materials, handle waste correctly, report hazardous materials and only assist under authorised procedures.
