Supervisor

Description

• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and pre-start meetings
• Supervise day-to-day site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
• FRP Form Reo Pour (Concrete) – Manage formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pouring works.
• Oversee basement construction, deep excavation, and retaining wall systems
• Identify and resolve site issues proactively
• Implement and enforce WHS requirements and site safety procedures
• Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and construction methodology
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials
• Assist with construction sequencing, look-ahead planning, and progress reporting
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders

Requirements

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with FRP works
• White Card (mandatory)
• Solid understanding of temporary works and excavation safety
• Strong background in basement works and deep excavation
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on major construction or civil projects
• Demonstrated experience with retaining walls (e.g. piled walls, shotcrete, anchors, props)
• Ability to commit to a long-term contract and full-time site presence
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts in a live construction environment
• Relevant trade or construction qualification
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards and WHS legislation
