Plan and manage land use, zoning, and development projects in Pompano Beach.

Tasks

-Support planning and entitlement projects including land use, zoning, and comprehensive plan amendments -Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and exhibits for client meetings, public hearings, and community workshops -Contribute to the preparation of proposals and planning studies -Conduct research and analysis on planning, development, and regulatory topics -Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to prepare planning and development documents -Communicate effectively with clients, municipal staff, and project stakeholders

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning or related field -Proficiency in planning and visualization tools preferred -AICP certification or eligibility a plus -Strong understanding of zoning, land development regulations, and planning processes -3–5 years of professional planning experience, preferably in Florida -Excellent written and verbal communication skills
