As the Director of O&M – Solar & ESS, you will lead and develop a distributed team of technicians, ensuring safety, training, and performance excellence. Your hands‑on field experience combined with a collaborative approach will drive key performance indicators such as safety and revenue while fostering strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Manage a distributed team, assign projects, coach, train, develop staff, and address skill gaps.
- Champion safety and quality culture across all O&M projects.
- Own the O&M division P&L to maintain profitability and growth.
- Develop and execute annual business plans, forecasts, and budgets aligned with strategy.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, service offerings, and strategic partnerships.
- Drive business development through customer communication and relationship building.
- Lead contract reviews, proposal generation, and cost estimations for accuracy and compliance.
- Improve processes and efficiencies, sharing technical knowledge to enhance quality and safety.

- Possess 8+ years of progressive commercial O&M or related field experience.
- Have 3+ years of management experience with direct reports and demonstrated coaching abilities.
- Bring deep expertise in at least one area such as O&M, solar construction, solar design, module/inverter technology, energy assessment, or power marketing.
- Familiarity with budgets, financial models, and the National Electric Code.
- Hold a project management designation or comparable experience.
- Knowledge of energy storage systems.
Benefits
Pearce follows fair and transparent pay practices; base salary for this role ranges from $160,000 to $190,000 USD, with additional eligibility for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, and various stipends. Total compensation may also include a company vehicle, per diem, and other applicable benefits, reflecting the company’s commitment to pay equity and compliance with transparency laws.
