The Productivity Process Deployment Engineer supports the Roofing division by deploying productivity‑focused projects and solutions that improve facility efficiency. Reporting to the Division Productivity Leader, the role has no direct reports but influences decision‑making across all roofing sites.
Safety is the top priority. The engineer maintains plant housekeeping, reports and investigates injuries, first‑aid incidents and near‑misses, and leads by example in hazard recognition and elimination.
The engineer leads capital projects that boost productivity, completes stage‑gate requests, coordinates design reviews, obtains quotes from contractors, and supports site analysis to reduce losses. They act as a change agent, drive digital and automated solutions, and participate in daily management, RMDC and GEMBA meetings to ensure continuous improvement.
Supporting world‑class quality, the engineer deploys projects that enhance product and process quality across the network, participates in the functional quality management system, shares best practices, and ensures quality initiatives are monitored in plant leadership meetings.
The role engages team members in continuous improvement, recognizes and rewards positive behaviors, communicates critical performance metrics daily, and invests in personal and team development to sustain long‑term success.
The position must be located near one of Owens Corning's roofing facilities and close to a major airport. Eligible locations include Atlanta, GA; Brookville, IN; Compton, CA; Denver, CO; Irving, TX; Jacksonville, FL; Kearny, NJ; Medina, OH; Minneapolis, MN; Portland, OR; Savannah, GA; and Summit, IL.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, at least five years of manufacturing or industrial experience deploying capital projects from concept to installation, 70% travel availability, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and expertise in process improvement, project management, change management, root‑cause analysis and FMEA.

The salary range is $105,000‑$140,000, plus additional compensation for qualified candidates.
