Measure, cut, and install steel studs, track, and framing materials according to design specs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store tools and materials.
Install blocking, backing, and bracing to support drywall and other finishes.
Collaborate with other trades and team members to maintain job site coordination.
Ensure all work complies with building codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.
Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
This role may occasionally require working in high, precarious places; near fumes or airborne particles; and handling toxic or caustic chemicals. There is also a risk of electrical shock and vibration in certain situations.
Construct interior and exterior wall systems, ceilings, bulkheads, and soffits.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and framing requirements.
Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage, fall protection, and hazard awareness.

Travel required based on project location
1-3 years of proven experience as a steel stud framer in commercial construction.
This position may require frequent travel by motor vehicle.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
The ability to lift and/or move materials and tools is essential, with a minimum weight limit of 50lbs. These tasks may vary and are not required to be performed daily.
Physical stamina to lift, carry, and work on ladders or scaffolding for extended periods.
Proficient in the use of framing tools such as screw guns, chop saws, levels, and laser layout tools.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as required.
The role may involve extended hours on construction sites, necessitating physical stamina to move around the premises.
Strong understanding of framing techniques, materials, and construction practices.
This position requires outdoor work, with exposure to various weather conditions.
