Project Executive

Description

• Accountable for jobsite safety.
• Accountable for meeting contract requirements.
• Verify accuracy of financial forecasts, notice provisions, and billings; escalate unresolved deviations.
• Ensure creation of a project‑specific quality plan aligned with contract documents.
• Ensure creation of a closeout plan aligned with contract documents.
• Lead and motivate the project team while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Direct and supervise project administration, superintendents, and engineers to set priorities and maintain relationships with owners, subcontractors, and unions.
• Accountable for subcontracting strategy and integrity of the buyout process.
• Negotiate contracts, lead risk‑mitigation implementation, and review draft contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.
• Ensure project compliance with insurance and bonds.
• Coordinate preconstruction services, align with contractual obligations, and approve deliverables to owner and design team.
• Lead the team with effective communication and prioritization to meet the project schedule.
• Develop an understanding of local market areas and lead a networking strategy.
• Partner with business development to integrate sales strategies, optimize profit levers, and strengthen client and industry relationships.
• Responsible for career development and coaching of team members.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members.
• Interpret and translate organizational strategy to ensure team alignment with strategic goals.

Requirements

This role is primarily site‑based with occasional travel to the office for trainings and meetings.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10‑15 years of experience leading $50M‑$100M+ projects.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
• Knowledge of industry‑standard software; Microsoft Office preferred.

Compensation for this Cleveland, OH position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000, plus benefits, a generous profit‑sharing/401k plan, and comprehensive health and welfare coverage.
