The role involves applying expertise in materials, structural analysis, steel design, and reinforced concrete design. You will prepare, review, and advise on design calculations, develop specifications, and work with designers on drawing production. Travel may be required for design reviews at client and vendor offices and for on‑site construction coordination and field verification.
Candidates must hold a BSCE with a structural emphasis from an ABET‑accredited program, possess 12+ years of experience in industrial, heavy‑commercial, or nuclear facility structural design, and be proficient with analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS. Knowledge of design codes (ASCE 7, AISC, ACI), strong communication skills, and a PE or SE license are essential; an MSCE and on‑site construction support experience are valued.
