Electrical Superintendent

Description

• Organize and plan the work for which you are responsible, ensuring all necessary materials, tools, and information are prepared in advance
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, work rules, and applicable regulations
• Maintain a daily job journal detailing actual events, decisions, and progress
• Lead and oversee craft workers assigned to specific areas of responsibility, utilizing all resources effectively
• Motivate team members to achieve objectives and maintain a high standard of work
• Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend corrective actions as needed. Conduct accident investigations when required
• Ensure compliance with all company, client, and project policies, standards, and procedures
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions such as scheduling, engineering, and material control

Requirements

• Strong customer service orientation and team player; ability to create and maintain strong customer relationships
• At least 7 years of prior experience in electrical construction, with a focus on wastewater, instrumentation, and control, in DOD, - healthcare, industrial, or premier commercial sectors
• Experience with wastewater treatment systems, instrumentation, and control is critical in overseeing technical aspects of projects related to these systems
• Expertise in estimating, scheduling, and budget processes; 2-4 years of related experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic knowledge of the NEC and NFPA 70E
• Valid driver’s license and insured personal transportation required
• Ability to manage risk and profitability effectively
