The role entails designing and developing high‑fidelity 1D, 2D, or 3D thermal models for components and sub‑systems using in‑house tools or external platforms like Modelica, GT‑SUITE, Amesim, and Simulink. These models are simulated and analyzed under various operating conditions to assess thermal, fluid, and control system behavior. Collaboration with mechanical, controls, and software engineers integrates the models into product development workflows, while calibration with experimental test data minimizes prediction errors. Validation against experimental or field data refines model accuracy, and a modular simulation architecture supports a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration system designs. Documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and results is provided for both internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering and possess at least five years of relevant experience. A solid understanding of engineering science, analytical and CAD software, and precision technical design techniques is required. Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills are essential for effectively conveying complex technical information.
