Risk management: participate or lead risk assessments, such as process hazard analyses (PHA) and hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), to identify and mitigate potential issues.
Compliance: assist with identification and interpretation of code, regulatory, or quality requirements for pharmaceutical and life science processes. Examples include Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), NFPA, or EPA Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.
Project management: develop scopes of work, schedules, and budgets according to client specifications and needs. Plan and manage engineering projects.

Hybrid: a hybrid arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office. This position can be based out of any of our offices.

Compensation: anticipated range of $115,000–130,000. Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus based on team and individual performance. This position is classified as an exempt (salaried) under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Travel expectation: approximately 5% to 10%. Work may involve short-term, out-of-town assignments either in the field, attending conferences, for client visits, or in another Barr office.
