The Engineer‑Operations role in the Service Center provides manufacturing work‑instruction support for engine and generator business units, managing projects individually or in teams while meeting timeline and quality requirements.
Key responsibilities include receiving and analyzing project requests, planning solutions with business units, creating work instructions and SOPs, using CAD tools (Creo, Catia) for design, performing GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis, applying DFMA and design for serviceability, and ensuring compliance with manufacturing processes, PLM, and ERP systems.
Our product range spans engines, generators, power conversion, UPS systems, EV components, microgrid controls, and clean‑energy solutions for OEM, residential, industrial, and commercial customers. Education and experience requirements are a BE/MTech in Mechanical Engineering with 4‑5 years of product design experience (preferably generators), proficiency in Creo and Catia, sheet‑metal and welded structure design skills, effective communication with internal customers and external suppliers, and preferably global work experience.
