Strong knowledge of local clients and/or agency work (Amtrak, MTA, NYCDDC, DSNY, NYCT, LIRR, MNR, PANYNJ, NYDOT)
NCARB certified a plus.
Strong knowledge of construction drawing standards and building codes, as well as ADA compliance;
Registered Architect in New York
Detailed experience related in architectural building design and rehabilitation with construction exposure a plus
Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail and highly organized.
Experience within the transportation industry is also a plus
Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience.
7 to 10 years of relevant post education experience in the learned discipline.
Transit architecture related experience required;
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Bachelor of Architecture is required; Masters in Architecture a plus.
