The role focuses on auditing key dimensional characteristics of sample parts in outgoing lots, performing approval inspections for operators, and utilizing sophisticated electronic and air gauging alongside conventional methods. All quality records and reports must be maintained accurately and completed in a timely manner.
- Conduct daily quality audits and approval inspections of outgoing parts.
- Inspect and release incoming product, new tooling, and fixtures.
- Set up, issue, calibrate, and log gauges; maintain Gagetrak records.
- Complete and file quality reports, SAP notifications, and inventory moves.
- Perform weekly cleanliness tests, capability studies, and required customer forms.
- Provide measurement training and assist employees with quality issues.
- Collaborate with engineering to disposition rework or scrap items.
- Maintain QA hold area and ensure a safe, organized work environment.
- Work independently with limited supervision; make judgment calls on product quality.

Benefits
This position is a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, offering a base rate of $22.67 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium. Total compensation ranges from $20.40 to $25.40 hourly, with the possibility of monthly bonuses up to 11% and overtime opportunities.
