Key responsibilities include supporting developers through construction activities, ensuring compliance with Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 and water‑quality practices, and guaranteeing that all new assets meet Anglian Water's minimum standards before handing them over to operations. The role also requires effective stakeholder management, delivering cost‑effective solutions, contributing to Outcome Delivery Incentives such as DMeX, I2S, Water Quality and CMEX, and controlling project expenses through detailed cost reconciliation at completion.
The successful candidate will hold a degree (preferably in engineering) and demonstrate strong project management and commercial awareness, along with experience in identifying and managing new business opportunities. Essential skills include a solid understanding of construction design management, excellent relationship‑building, negotiation and influencing abilities, clear communication, adaptability, strategic and analytical thinking, attention to detail, time‑management and proficiency with Microsoft Office; a background in water distribution engineering is advantageous.
The position is based in Peterborough and surrounding areas and is offered as a permanent full‑time role, with flexibility for part‑time work. Salary is advertised at approximately £40,000‑£50,000 and the role aligns with Anglian Water's values of building trust, doing the right thing and continuous exploration.
