Description

• Oversee all commercial aspects of project delivery, ensuring strong financial outcomes and contract compliance.
• Manage risk, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Lead pre-contract activities including tender reviews, bid strategy, and pricing input.
• Drive business development across Brisbane and regional QLD, fostering long-term client relationships.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to project and commercial teams, strengthening capability and consistency.
• Support forecasting, cost planning, and financial reporting to maintain project accuracy and profitability.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the commercial construction sector.
• Leadership experience, capable of motivating and developing a high-performing team.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets, costs, and procurement effectively.
• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse complex situations and make informed decisions.
