Production Assembly B-Shift

Overview

Assemble, operate equipment, pack products, and maintain safety in a manufacturing cell.

Tasks

-Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards. -Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. -Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, stakers, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders. -Packs finished product for shipment. -Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements. -Rotates in other work cells as directed by Supervisor or Cell Leader. -Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.

What You Bring

-Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs. -Bending body downward and forward at the waist. -Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred. -Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices. -Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency. -Standing for sustained periods of time. -Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.
