Description

• Clean and maintain buildings and facilities
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
• Notify manager of minor or major repairs or system additions
• Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, co‑workers, and supervisors
• Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by company, clients, and regulators
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas manually or with hand trucks
• Clean interior glass partitions, windows, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and squeegees
• Wash and replace blinds
• Gather and empty trash
• Sweep walkways, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, and perform other seasonal tasks
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms

Requirements

This role is well suited for individuals entering or returning to the workforce who have limited experience and education. ABM is a military‑ and veteran‑friendly employer and encourages veterans and candidates with military experience to apply (MOS codes 92S, 92Y, LS, DC).

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
• Customer service experience
• One year of similar work experience

Benefits

The position works Monday‑Friday with occasional weekends, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, and pays $16.50 per hour. The School Custodial Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.
