Financial Management Assistant (Co-op)

Overview

Assist with utility/property tax, billing, forecasts, and budgets for commercial real estate.

Key Responsibilities

• arfi coordination

Tasks

-Coordination of ARFI’s (Assessment Request for Information) reports as required; -Management of the utility invoice process; -Preparation of insurance premium current year forecast and upcoming year budget assumptions file, including year over year trending -Accounting for property tax refunds -Preparation of the current year forecast and upcoming year budget assumptions file, including year over year trending; -Coding invoices allocated across the portfolio; -WCB clearance database maintenance; -Management of the Property Tax Process including: -Preparation of all TIPP (Tax Instalment Payment Plan) journal entries and associated reconciliations

What You Bring

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment -Studies in Accounting or Finance are considered a strong asset -Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications -Strong attention to detail and organizational skills -Currently enrolled as a student, preferably in their second or third year of post-secondary studies
