Participates in the layout and coordination of network drops, IP addresses and monitoring tools with customer's IT Department personnel.
Create control algorithms, download source code to controllers, manage system databases, and implement an animated front-end graphical user interface.
Works with equipment vendors to coordinate communication protocols, encryption, and database requirements for integration to their systems.
Provides Plans & Control System Documents to application engineering for as-built drawings using the latest digital technology.
Executes project start-ups, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of installed BAS controls and mechanical systems on assigned projects.
Mentors other specialists who may need specific automation or HVAC product knowledge.
Participates in final inspection and testing, assures customer acceptance, and conducts training for end user customers on system operations.

Must have working knowledge of HVAC systems - Unitary Systems to Central Plants.
6+ years of experience with Siemens Apogee and Desigo.
General understanding of IP networks.
Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming. (Java, C++)
Knowledge of AutoCAD a plus.
Troubleshooting skills for determining HVAC vs. computer/controller issues.
Experience in Multiple Systems integration, getting different protocols to talk to each other and share information. One front end for multiple platforms.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication skills.
