Sales manager covering the Scottish region involved in the key stages from specification to end user engagement

  • Working closely with the team in delivering and reporting on business performance and future opportunities
  • Effectively manage client contacts via the CRM
  • Maximise revenue from major account clients
  • Managing & nurturing existing & new client base including architects, main contractors, subcontractors & housebuilders
  • Record and manage potential and active leads and opportunities
  • Effectively manage the sales pipelines, forecasts and secured business.
  • Uses original and creative thinking to make improvements or support the initiation of new approaches;
  • Maximise repeat revenue and ensure overall clients’ satisfaction
  • Utilising the sales IT systems used in the business.
  • Attends and actively participate is all learning interventions;
  • Takes the initiative to work across boundaries to resolve challenges;
  • Make sure our range of products are being effectively presented and revenue opportunities optimised
  • Maximise the use of major client face-to-face presentations where relevant

Identify and working with new potential clients, and nurturing and maximising existing contacts and accounts. This role requires someone who is passionate about the building materials sector, persistent and possesses strong communication skills to develop client relationships and identify new business.

Technical Knowledge

  • High level of sales skills to manage the whole life sale of our products for appointment to closing the sale and ensuring absolute client satisfaction with the delivered product;
  • Knowledge of the building materials sector and the different routes to market

  • Demonstrable knowledge and interest in the Brickability Group Brand and build excellent relation with vendor partners, where appropriate;
  • Able to choose a method of communication that is appropriate and effective for a given situation, to incorporate the difference mediums of listening, verbal and written;
  • Effective organisation of appointment and time management to best utilise productive hours of work;
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Demonstrates commitment and loyalty to Brickability Group Plc;
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages and other software packages
  • Willingness to travel to other locations
