Perform SAP transactions throughout the production process and access necessary documents related to manufacturing (e.g., SOPs, Safety Documents, Work Instructions).
Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
Responsible for cross-training actions defined by the Production Manager, including updating the training matrix and empowering the team through active involvement.
Update reports and files for area metrics/measurements, ensure tool calibration is current, and demonstrate excellent time management and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.
Actively participate in cleaning equipment and work areas to ensure safety, while conforming to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies and promoting continuous improvement.
Coordinate employees to fulfill the work schedule and serve as backup for the Production Manager when needed; perform additional tasks as directed.
Identify and report production-impacting issues, proactively collaborate across departments to resolve them, and apply Lean principles such as 5S/6S, 8 Wastes mitigation, VSM, Kaizens, and Standard Work.
